Oh no what has happened to this week. Its almost over and I haven’t shared what I did last weekend!
Well I was very lucky to attend an Eco Dyeing and Weaving course taught by the amazing Anne at www.anniesworkroom.com.au held at the Cooroora Institute www.cooroorainstitute.org this really is a place you must check out.

And what is Eco Dyeing? Its lots of fun is what it is 🙂 We dyed beautiful silk scarfs using flowers, gum leaves, weeds and anything else we could get our hands on. I especially loved using those ugly purple carrots that you see in the organic fruit and veg shops. The colours are really amazing. Now all I want to do it dye all my whites. My husband is hiding his shirts hehe.
We also made nests and string from banana plants. I really enjoyed making the string, but then again I do have a string fetish. I have added a few photos to show you some of the things we made.

I just love working with creative people, its the best medicine.
Thank you Anne for openly sharing your wonderful knowledge. I cant wait until the next one.
Happy Creating
Cheers
