Ever since I was a little girl, I have collected pretty material, string, paper, boxes anything I thought I could make something out of. I love beautiful things and sometimes just having a square of floral material with crochet edges was enough. I didn’t need to do or make anything. I just loved to look at it. Well I am all grown up and still no different. I still love rummaging through Opp shops, junk shops and even rubbish on the side of the road on council collection days. I get so excited when I find that special piece and can’t wait to clean it up and add it to my collection or making something out of it.

I have been restoring my own furniture for many years now. Mostly when I first got married. I could restore a kitchen table and chairs and sell it on for something I really wanted. I design and make my own tapestries for cushions, rugs or reupholstering. I have also been spinning all kinds of fibres for 18 years and I just love the end result as its always a fun surprise.

On the other hand I do love my technology. I don’t know where I would be without my iPad and iPhone. So I decided on “a little vintage” where old meets new. Here you will find, hand spun wool, handmade Journals made from cereal boxes and vintage finds, beautiful jars filled with vintage sewing supplies, toys made out of recycled jumpers and much, much more. I hope you find something special for yourself or for someone else. Enjoy all the beautiful things in life.

Here's a pic of me wearing a hat I knitted with some of my Hand Spun.
